Relevant Experience: Mary Jane O’Brien has over 25 years
of experience in art direction, working on behalf of both non-profit
and commercial clients.

Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including
several Echo awards from the Direct Marketing Association and
a Best of Show award from the New England Direct Marketing
Association. Her considerable talent in art direction and design
has helped raised funds for such leading nonprofit organizations
as The Greater Boston Food Bank, Plan USA, the USC Norris
Cancer Center, and more than 20 Humane Societies
among others.

Her career began in California, where she worked as a graphic
artist for Krupp Taylor, responsible for not only direct mail design,
but also package design, corporate identity and collateral. She
also owned and operated her own business, O’Brien & Associates
Design, in Newport Beach, California, providing design services for
such highprofile commercial accounts as Balboa Life & Casualty,
Avco Insurance Services, Xerox and Disney Creative Services, to
name just a few.

In her spare time, Mary Jane enjoys fundraising on a volunteer
basis. She served on the board of directors for the Duxbury Art
Association for seven years, and has contributed to the fundraising
efforts of the Duxbury Bay Maritime School.

Educated on the west coast at California State University in
Long Beach, California, Mary Jane graduated with honors, receiving
a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art. For recreation, she enjoys athletic
training and competing in triathlons and is an avid skier. An artist
at heart, Mary Jane’s home proudly displays her unique print
making designs.

Mary Jane recently opened DaVinci Direct’s West Coast office
in Irvine, CA.
